Ceramic Coating for Wheels & Calipers
Brake dust leaves your pads burning hot and lands straight on your wheels. It etches into the finish, then every drive bakes another layer on top. That is why uncoated wheels start looking tired no matter how hard you scrub.
Modesta BC-06 is a ceramic coating built for exactly this. It is heat resistant to over 2,000°F, so burning hot brake dust never gets the chance to bake into your rims. It sits on top of the coating instead of in your finish. You will still reach for a brush, but a job that used to take an afternoon of scrubbing becomes a quick, easy clean. Every set cures under infrared lamps in our Silver Spring shop before it goes back on the car.

How Ceramic Coating Protects Your Vehicle
Potent Precipitation Protection
The East Coast sees a good amount of acid rainfall every year, which not only leaves a despicable residue on the surface of unprotected automobiles, can actually cause paintwork to break down. Nanotechnology found in ceramic coatings that bring the surface hydrophobicity sought out by auto enthusiasts cause those particles to bead up and evaporate quickly.
Common Silver Spring, MD Contaminants
Silver Spring, Maryland is no stranger to tree sap, bug splatters, bird droppings, and other environmental messes on a mission to cause chaos on your finish. While those messes may still need to be hand-removed by a professional exterior detailing team, ceramic coatings make this decontamination process simple by providing a tense canvas that never allows them to adhere to your surface.
Chemical Exposure
Anywhere you find a winter snowfall here in Maryland, you will find salt brine and other chemicals on the road to help melt black ice and snow buildup. The Modesta Ceramic Coating products that we offer here at Maryland Auto Spa are impervious to these aberrant contaminants, along with any other type of road wash that kicks up during warmer months like oil and transmission fluid.
Sunshine Wear and Tear
We often think of environmental contamination as being rain, slush, and physical messes. But what about those that cannot be witnessed by the naked eye? Maryland Auto Spa’s ceramic coating packages cover those, too! Nanotechnology in our Modesta Ceramic Coatings create a surface that reflects ultraviolet rays, which prevents the breakdown of your paintwork.
